We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing place! The location is incredibly quiet, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The houses are clean and the host is very friendly. The view of the lake is breathtaking, especially during sunset. We enjoyed a late evening sauna and swimming in the crystal-clear lake. The entrance fee for day visitors is affordable and there are not too many people around, which is great for us as we don't like busy places. My children, aged 13 and 11, always look forward to coming here every summer. The lake is pristine and the beach is cleaned early in the morning. We reserved a table for the day and had delicious coffee and ice cream.
We felt so comfortable during our stay that we didn't encounter any issues at all. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful owners.

The terrace with lake views was great for people-watching, especially when the kids were running wild in the playground. And let's not forget about the thrilling adventure of trekking 15 km to Daugavpils Church Hill!
Oh, I just loved how there was no mention of a barbecue at the holiday park. Who needs to cook outdoors anyway?

As business travelers, we absolutely loved the tranquility and peacefulness of this place. The location is perfect, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The houses were spotlessly clean and had a refreshing smell of fresh wood. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We were able to enjoy the clean and picturesque lake, perfect for snorkeling with our family. Despite the rainy weather, the water remained crystal clear, and there were plenty of fish to observe. The administration even trusted us with the gate remote control for our convenience. We also enjoyed the sauna facilities, which were great for unwinding after a long day.
We felt very welcomed and had no complaints at all.

The location of the hotel is perfect for those who love nature and tranquility. Guests can enjoy stunning sunsets and the beautiful singing of birds. the clean and cozy houses are made of fresh wood and offer a pleasant smell. the view from the barrel house is simply amazing, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural surroundings.
It would be great if there were shared facilities for washing hands and getting drinking water, as these are essential for most guests.

I recently stayed at a beautiful place on the shores of the cleanest lake in the country. The hosts, Zhenya and Boris, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The accommodations were even better than the photos, with modern and clean rooms that had all the utilities we needed. The highlight of our stay was the pristine lake water, perfect for swimming. They also offered the option to rent a sauna, paddleboards, pedal boats, a boat, or a yacht, making it a great place for a relaxing holiday with friends or family. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The room at Sventes Rasa was cozy and comfortable, with an electric kettle and tea/coffee maker for a nice hot drink in the morning. I loved having a private entrance, it made me feel like I had my own little hideaway. The kitchenette was also a great addition, allowing me to prepare simple meals during my stay. And the balcony was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the stovetop in the double room. But hey, that's just me.
